Winolequa Garden Club getting ready for sale

The proceeds from the Winolequa Garden Club plant and bake sale went to a scholarship fund.

The Winolequa Garden Club is having their plant and bake sale starting on May 12 and running every day through June 18. The location is at 1117 NW Mill St. in Winlock with hours from dawn to dusk. Plant prices are by donation, and they will have several varieties to choose from. New plants will be added throughout the sale and the public is encouraged to drop off any unwanted plant related items.

They also offer baked goods that will have set prices. In the past, they have had loaves of bread and other goodies. They always have a few goodies to nibble on while you are looking around.

Every year, the Winolequa Garden Club does this fundraiser. It is to help students from Winlock with a scholarship. They have offered scholarships for over 10 years plus, which helps many students afford college. These ladies work hard every year to raise thousands to support students. This is a great opportunity for you to help support local students.
