The City of Winlock is seeking local residents able to serve on the Winlock Park Board to help manage park resources and spend time maintaining park facilities.

Three positions within the city limits and one position within the Winlock School District are available, and members will set a regular time to meet and conduct business, as well as appoint a chairperson to lead the board.

Previous Park Board volunteers have been instrumental in completing such projects as Volunteer Park and regular movie night fundraisers, and similar efforts would be available to continue under new Park Board members.

Those interested in applying for the open positions may do so by contacting City Hall at (360) 785-3811, or may drop off a letter of intent to their offices at 323 NE First St. Members will then be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council.
