Winlock's First Saturday Market a big success

Photo courtesy of WIN - Opening day of Winlock's Saturday Market brought people out into the sunny weather.

After months of preparation, the Winlock Saturday Market surely was a big success. The community came out in big numbers to support the many vendors. Vendors sold woodwork, crafts, jewelry, pottery, and other arts and crafts. Fresh fruits and vegetables were also on sale for the great price offered by farmers markets.

Live music was performed by Stan Kaszycki. Kaszycki is a local guitarist who "set the atmosphere" with his beautiful guitar playing.

Spaces are still available to potential vendors who would like a chance to sell their goods and produce at future Saturday markets. Applications can be printed off from the Winlock Saturday Market Facebook page or filled out in person. Booth spaces cost $20.

The Winlock Saturday Market will continue every Saturday through September. All community members are urged to come out and support local business!
