Chainsaw Safety Class
Firewood enthusiasts, mark your calendars for Saturday, September 27th, as that's when Harold Strozyk, longtime logger and Raymond resident, will conduct a chainsaw safety class on his property at 386 South Fork Road. This is a non-alcoholic, potluck event, so bring your favorite dish and be prepared to learn the safe method for operating your chainsaw. Bring along a chair if you'd like to sit; this class will be conducted in the woods near Harold's home. All silver and dishware provided, and a porta potty will be on-site. Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch
The Willapa Harbor Health Foundation will host a Celebrate Life, Power in Pink Champagne Brunch with a Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch at the Willapa Harbor Community Center in South Bend on Saturday, October 11 from 11 am-2 pm. Tickets are $10. There will be motivational speakers, music, raffles, prizes, etc.
