Warrants and Sentencing 12.25.13

One sentence and two warrants were issued by Judge Steven Buzzard during Winlock Municipal Court Thursday.

Robert R. Van der Vort, 27, of Shelton, pleaded guilty to driving while license suspended, third degree, and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 83 days suspended and seven days credited for time served. He was also fined $900 with $400 suspended.

A $2,000 warrant was issued for the arrest of Tyler L. Demyan, 34, of Longview, after failing to appear for a pre-trial hearing. Demyan is facing a charge of malicious mischief, third degree.

A $1,500 warrant was issued for the arrest of Jordan L. Sorensen, 33, of Kelso, after failing to appear for a stipulate bench trial. Sorensen has been found guilty of driving while license suspended, third degree.
