Cowlitz-Lewis Fire District 20 is also inviting members of the public to their meetings, held the second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Vader Fire Hall. Commissioners are currently planning out next year's budget, so bring your questions and concerns to put before the board.
The Vader Assembly of God Church will be hosting Mathai Mathai, a missionary to India, this Wednesday, at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to come hear his inspiring stories.

The Castle Rock CARE Coalition will be hosting another Strengthening Families Program starting Monday, Oct. 13, at the Vader Assembly of God Church, and all area families are invited to participate. This free 14-week program is intended connect parents with the support and skills needed to face the many stressors of raising children and dealing with everyday life. An information night is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 2, at 6 p.m., with families from the previous program to speak about their experiences.
