A sincere farewell to Lois Wilson who will be facing surgery and a long recuperation. Her contribution to the Vader community has been valuable and a huge thank you for all the hours of work she has done.
It looks like another business might emerge in Vader, we will have to wait and see. Are you curious?
2013 VADER MAY DAY
It now appears the May Day Festival has been revived, saved from disappearing with the passing of Diana Tranhanes. A group of citizens are willing to shoulder the task of getting the May Day together and going forward. If you are interested in helping, please call City Hall for the phone number and person to volunteer.
Remember the Vader Assembly of God will he giving away food in front of the post office Wednesday at noon, so be sure to drop by. They will also be hosting a special speaker Bruce Thomas from Mexico in the March 10 morning service. For more particulars, please contact the Church Office at 295-3756.
CORRECTION;
The CERT class will be April 12 - 14, not March as previously printed. Call Liz Hicker at 360-200-5909 or Sonya at 360-754-3360 for more information and sign up. The class is one of the best hands on emergency preparedness training around. It's for families, Neighbors, Cities, and everyone.
