A Toledo woman was charged Tuesday May 31 for allegedly threatening a man with a knife.
The Lewis County Superior Court charged Libby A. McDonald, 56, with second-degree assault and possession of methamphetamine.
At 10:50 am on Friday May 27 the Lewis County Sheriff's Office responed to an assualt report from the 100 block of Alder Creek road in Toledo. The alleged victim claimed that McDonald was living in a tent on his property and she was supposed to leave that day. He claimed that McDonald refused to leave and alleged that she pulled out a large knife. According to court documents, McDonald threatened him with it.
Court documents also stated that during the arrest a search of her purse revealed drug paraphernalia with residue that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Superior Court Judge Richard Brosey set McDonald's bail at $15,000.
