On a more somber note, I pause to mourn the passing of two retail businesses last month in the downtown core. While I don't drink, I enjoyed a cold soda and discussion about the 'hood with Jerry Pratt, proprietor of the liquor store. Toledo's Daily Grind represented my Internet connection before home installation, with coffee fueling me while I conducted business. I will miss them both.
