Deidre Dillon reports on Garden Initiative: Toledo Elementary students made bird feeders last week from recycled pop bottles and feeder platforms. Older students helped younger ones use math, measuring out donated seed. Chuck Reynolds’ grow beds for pepper seeding at high school to begin soon.

Principal Martin Huffman says: Congrats to Joevanie Montalvo and Mason Gaul, recipients of the WA State Bee Keepers scholarship award. Toledo High School’s Dr Trikosko will teach a unit this Fall.
