Swanson, Votes with Integrity, and Truly Serves the Public

I have been attending P.U.D. meetings since March 2013 and have witnessed the P.U.D. Board of Commissioners in action. It is very clear to me that there is a split on this board and it is due to two commissioners that want to continue the status quo, and one that votes the way that he thinks that the ratepayers would vote. That commissioner is Mike Swanson.

Mr. Swanson is running for re-election against an unknown entity and it is up to us, the voting public, to see that he continues to serve us. I could not be more impressed with this man. Even when he knows that that his counterparts are going to oppose him, he votes his mind. He voted against the large management raises and was voted down by the other two. He wanted to see an investigation into the "man-lift" issue and was shut down by the two others and, after taking the pulse of the public in the three town meetings about the extension of the Tokeland project, he voted not to make the move, and was voted down by the other two. This man works for us and we have to vote to keep him.

Please join me in voting for Mike Swanson for P.U.D. Commissioner.
