"I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the project, especially my mentor for the project, Val Rowe, and my mother, Ronda Rowe," Jones said.
Jones continued to thank other members of the family, friends who supported her and the community for coming out to see what a Powwow was all about.
"We had over 200 people come out and visit us at the Powwow," Jones said.
Covering all expenses for hosting the Powwow and providing prizes for those participating, Jones was still able to exceed her expectations and donations to Willapa Harbor Helping Hands, as well as learn valuable life experience in the coordination of the event.
"I could not have done it without all the help from everyone involved, thank you so much," Jones added.
