On August 15, at 1:57am Aberdeen officers were dispatched to a fight that had occurred in the parking lot of the Northwest Passage.
Officers arrived and contacted a 21 year old Aberdeen woman and a 22 year old Aberdeen man. They reported that several minutes prior to the incident being reported, that three men had followed them out of the Northwest Passage and into the parking lot where an altercation occurred and they were both assaulted.
The three men ages 25, 31, and 33, all of whom live in Aberdeen, then left the area in a motor vehicle only to return a short time later after they realized one of their wallets and cellular phones were missing.
When the men returned they were confronted by the male and female who were originally assaulted. During this confrontation the 22 year old Aberdeen man was stabbed in the torso and the woman was again assaulted.
The female was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital and the stabbing victim refused aid at the time.
The three Aberdeen men have been identified and have been interviewed.
