You will find quite the array of seafood coming out of the Shack, with the main staple dish being their specialty of raw oysters on the half-shell in apple vodka and slices of granny smith apples. You'll also find barbecued oysters with bacon, cream cheese and garlic butter. There will be Dungeness crab and shrimp on the menu, as well. A new addition to the menu is fruit or vegetable smoothies thanks to the new juicer Strozyk has equipped himself with this summer. There is a new Ceviche, in the oyster or shrimp variety. One thing that you will not find this summer is the clam chowder that has been served at the Shack in past years.
Strozyk has, in a way, gone an extra measure to open the Shack this year in that he has struggled to make a profit in past years. In spite of the stretch, has said that it is a good summer job opportunity for the younger generation and a good way to support the community, so make sure to stop in at the Oyster Shack and help Strozyk support the community.
