The Washington State Patrol responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision on Tuesday, January 1 at 1:11 a.m. two miles west of Mossyrock on Wilson road.
Jareth W. Schroeder, a 31-year-old Eatonville man, was travelling east on SR12 driving a gray 2005 Ford Focus.
The vehicle struck Colton M. Lindberg, a 27-year-old Toledo man, reportedly standing in the roadway wearing dark clothing. Lindberg was deceased at the scene.
Schroeder and his two passengers were not injured. The Ford Focus was totalled and towed from the scene privately.
