A Home Fire Safety Workshop will be held at the Hoquiam Timberland Library on Friday, June 10 starting at 11am.
The Flag Day Parade will be held in Ocean Shores on Saturday, June 11 at 11am. There are over 80 entrants in this year's parade.
The Grays Harbor PUD is notifying customers in North Grays Harbor County of a planned power outage that will start at 7am on Tuesday, June 14. The outage is expected to last until 6pm.

Looking for Garage Sales! Elma has enough to keep you busy during Elma City-Wide Garage Sale Days, June 24-25, 2016. Last year's event featured over 50 garage sales all over town! And many of the local businesses offer specials to entice you into the stores.
Get your garage sale listed on the official Elma City-Wide Garage Sale Map for only $5.00. Shoppers can pick up the free official Garage Sale map at Elma Visitors Station, corner of Main and Third Streets. Maps will be ready beginning the afternoon of June 23rd. Maps will also be available at various business locations in Elma and online at www.elmachamber.org.
On Saturday Elma Police Department & Elma Fire Department are hosting a Safety Fair that includes free pigs in a blanket (hot dogs) and an opportunity to "dunk-a-cop" in the dunk tank. Friday and Saturday stock up on summer reading at the Elma Timberland Library Book Sale. For a sweet treat stop by the Elma Senior Center indoor garage sale for some pie and ice cream! And several of the local churches and other organizations are hosting large fund raising sales you won't want to miss!

Saturday July 2, 2016 9AM - 3PM at the Hoquiam Senior Center, Emerson Hotel, 707 Simpson in Hoquiam Pieceful Discoverers Quilt Guild will be hosting a quilt show. Donations for "Meals on Wheels" will be greatfully accepted. A classic car show of the Push Rods will be close by. There will be door prizes, demonstrations, vendors, a boutique as well as the annual raffle quilt for "Meals on Wheels" beautifully done in patriotic red, white and blue available for sale. Lunch will also be available for purchase and all proceeds will directly benefit the "Meals on Wheels" program.
