The homecoming king and queen for Raymond HS were Brodie Lavin and Anastasia Delgado.
"We played well against Ilwaco on Friday night," RSB Assistant Football Coach Mike Tully told the Herald. "We jumped out to a 20-0 lead midway through the second quarter. Ilwaco was able to put a good drive together to score with 1:26 left in the half. We were able to run an effective two-minute drill, scoring on a 33-yard pass from Austin Snodgrass to Ferrill Johnson as time expired to take a 26-6 lead into the half.
"In the second half, we were able to push the lead up to 41-6 before Ilwaco was able to score their final touchdown to get to the 41-14 final score," Tully reported.
"Offensively, we had another excellent game, gaining over 500 yards for the second straight week," Tully said. "Ferrill Johnson had a couple long runs on his way to 202 yards and two touchdowns rushing.
"Robby Stigall had another good overall game, rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown on offense and earning 15 tackles on defense," Tully said.
"Austin Snodgrass only completed two passes on the night, but both of them were for touchdowns," Tully noted.
"Sawyer Duckworth (4 tackles) had a good game defensively, clogging up the middle and taking away Ilwaco's inside run game," Tully pointed out.
Schlueter racked up 7 tackles with 5 solo efforts and Bryson made 7 assisted tackles. Lavin added 6 total tackles with a sack.
The Ravens, 2-1 on the season, visit Adna Friday at 7 pm. The Pirates (1-2) romped over White Swan (0-3) 62-12 last week after suffering losses to Napavine (59-6) and at Pe Ell-Willapa Valley 22-20.
Adna has a lot of student-athletes out for the program and boasts some pretty good size.
"They are a pretty solid team," Tully said of AHS. "They like to spread things out and can throw the ball effectively. They have a new coach this year, so they will probably get a little better each week as they get accustomed to his offensive and defensive systems. It should be a good test for us before we get into divisional play."
