
Isabel Langhaim
Isabel Langhaim will be Clara in the Nutcracker playing at the Corbett Theatre in Centralia this coming weekend. Isabel is a Sophmore at Toledo high school and she has been involved in ballet for 3 years.
Isabel is studying with the SW Dance studio in Chehalis and she is getting to show her talent with others. They have evening and matinee performances this weekend and tickets can be purchased at the box office.
Isabel stated "I really like the story about Clara, whose little brother broke her nutcracker and she was able to find something positive. I am excited for the end of the show when I get to talk to friends and family about the play."
Isabel has also found a great friend while rehearing for the play, they have a cast A and B and the young lady playing Clara in cast B have become friends "I really enjoy her, we have had to hold each other during rehearsals" Isabel also has a love for the studio dance family "the whole studio has become my family and I love them very much."
When she talks about her talent she stated "I love ballet and the arts, there are really no rules you can make it up as you go along, it's almost addictive. "It's fun, I feel the joy from others when I dance for them."
Isabel's parents are also proud of her, Carlie her mother stated "My dream was to be Clara growing up so I am living vicariously through my daughter. She shines on stage, she has a glow, it's really fun to watch.
Ryan and Carlie Langhaim reside in Toledo with their three children, Isabel 15, Taylor 13 and Cole 10.
