A state Department of Corrections officer was in the Napavine area to check on a client when he happened upon a robbery. On July 13th, two men were seen leaving the area of the 100 Block of Forest-Napavine Road East.
Deputies responded around 10:30 AM and learned the door had been forced open. One window was also broken according to the Lewis County Sherriff's Office. The DOC officer described the suspect as a slender, white male with tattoos on both arms. The other suspect was in an older Honda or Toyota when they fled the area together.
The victim provided the video which captured the intruder. Chief Deputy Stacy Brown also said it appeared some of the resident's belongings had been piled up on the front door.
