Hunter Education

There is one remaining Hunter Education Class in the Willapa Harbor area this summer. The class will start on August 10. The class will run for four nights from 5 pm to 9 pm. You are required to register on-line, go to wdfw.wa.gov and click on Hunter Education. NO walk-ins will be allowed. Class size is limited so register early. There is no cost to attend this class. Students are required to pass a written exam and related field activities. Live fire will be offered. You must attend all sessions...no exceptions. Students 12 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students under 18 years old must bring a signed Parent Agreement Form which can be obtained on the online registration website. Class will be held at the Willapa Harbor Community Center in South Bend. On-line classes are still available this summer at a cost of $19.50. These classes also require a field skills evaluation. A schedule for these field classes is available via the WDFW website.
