Harold David Boone

Harold David Boone of Toledo, WA passed away at St. John Medical Center on Oct 3, 2014.

He was born April 30, 1937 in Toledo, WA at the Toledo Hospital to Elmer and Dorothy Boone. Harold graduated from Toledo High School in 1955.

Harold served in the US Army from 1960-61. He worked at Weyerhaeuser, Kraft Foods and drove logging truck. He drove for Olson Trucking from 1972-1983. He drove for other logging companies until his retirement in 1999. Harold enjoyed farming, fishing and family.

He married his wife Pat in 1958. She passed away in 2012. Harold is survived by a son, Kenneth (Bobbi) Boone and two daughters, Tamara (Dave) Wolden and Brenda (Alan) Ledgerwood. Harold was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Hilary (Barry), Nicholas, Julian, Nigel, Eilish, Cameron and Colby.

His surviving siblings include Robert (Allene) Boone, Dennis (Sandy) Boone, Carol Ann Ostrom, Ida Lee (Bud) Eustler and a sister-in-law Delores (Noah) Dugger. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Elmer and Kenneth Boone and two brothers-in-law Dick Ostrom and Fred Reynolds.

A graveside service is planned for 11 a.m., October 18th at Lone Hill Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Toledo Senior Center.
