In support of the Seahawks this Blue Friday, Grays Harbor Community Hospital raised the 12th man flag and held an internal fundraiser for the Grays Harbor Community Hospital Foundation. All hospital employees were given the opportunity to show their Seahawks (or Broncos) pride by paying $5 in exchange for a little freedom of uniform for the day.
Many took advantage of the opportunity and wore their jerseys, t-shirts, and blue and green for the occasion, supporting their favorite team and the community as well. The fundraiser provides funds for the Hospital Foundation, which gives much needed support to the hospital. In 2013, they assisted with the lobby remodel project, new patient technology and countless other needed items. The fundraiser continues through Sunday.
