All plant vendors are welcome to come and sell for a $10 fee. Proceeds will benefit the Grange in its effort to repair and repaint the century old Grange Hall at 290 Camp One Road, Raymond.
Future Farmers of America will sell plants started in a greenhouse. Tim Kredlo, Grange member, will hold a presentation on hoop-house construction. Larry 'Dutch' Holland will be giving a presentation on dealing with insect stings and bites. A presentation on beekeeping will follow. Also, locally baked goods will be available for sale, gluten-free goods included.
The Grange is a nonpartisan family-oriented organization with roots in rural communities across America. Organized in 1867, the Grange has served rural America longer than any other agricultural organization. The Willapa Valley Grange hosts community organization, skill share, permaculture education and promotes sustainability.
