Goelz Seeks election as Superior Court Judge

To the Editor:

Judge Michael Sullivan has discussed his intention not to seek another term as Pacific County Superior Court Judge. This is no small thing. Judge Sullivan has presided over the Court during a period that saw an unprecedented number of difficult and sensational cases at a time of significant budget cuts and the loss of key personnel. Of course his humor and friendly disposition will be missed even more than his steady hand.

I have decided to seek the position of Pacific County Superior Court Judge. I believe I have the experience and ability to undertake all of the responsibilities of that office.

I want to thank Judges Joel and Betsy Penoyar; Drs Ed and Catherine Ketel; Attorney Heidi Haywood; Larry Baker; and of course Mary Goelz for agreeing to be on my election committee.

Hope to meet as many of you as I can in the coming months.
