Football: Toledo State Quarter Finals
Wednesday, November 14, 2018 11:12 am Toledo High School football team is off to State Quarter Finals on Saturday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. against Tri-Cities Prep in Pasco, Washington. Toledo played Reardan High School on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Toledo Indians came out to play and play they did. During the first half, Ethan Buck had a 16 yard run with Andreas Malunat with the kick. Then the 28 yard pass late in the first half to Coleby Cherrington eventually led to the 9 yard run by Duke Schaplow that sent Toledo to the locker room at halftime 14-3 lead with the kick by Malunat. During the 3rd quarter, offensive guard Hunter Eaton who is also the punter for Toledo tossed the ball 53 yards to Fano Arceo Hansen on a fake punt which took the Indians to the lead of 21-3 with just 10 minutes left in the third quarter. It wasn't the last play for Senior Fano Arceo-Hansen, the senior caught a 61 yard touchdown pass from Bryce Marcil halfway through the fourth quarter. When Reardan got possession of the ball, their quarterback was sacked within 15 seconds and Marcil recovered the fumble. The fumble made it so Toledo was at the 1 yard line.
