Elma Rest Area on State Route 8 closed April 2

the Elma Safety Rest Area on State Route 8 two miles east of Elma Wednesday, April 2 for maintenance. Hours of the closure are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The nearest safety rest areas to Elma are located on Interstate 5 near Grand Mound.  The Scatter Creek Rest Area is on northbound I-5 just north of Grand Mound; the Maytown Rest Area is on southbound I-5 11 miles south of Olympia.  Numerous other Safety Rest Areas are also available across the state to give travelers a place to rest before continuing on their journey.
