Donna's Place in Toledo is having a fun Cheese Days, there will be bands and a specific menu related to cheese. There is never a dull moment at Donna's during Cheese Days. You can usually see a lot of the longer residents as well as new.
This year the music will be provided on Friday evening by Chris Guenther and The Honky Tonk Drifters. Chris has been a staple around the area for many years. His old style country music is always a hit. Chris recently recorded an album that is now available to the public. Not only is Chris Guenther a great country singer, but he is also one of those nice guys. He has donated his time and given many benefit concerts as well, he does not let the grass grow under his feet.
During Lunch on Saturday, you can enjoy the sounds of Mike Roy and Frank Rose. Mike and Frank have been playing together since 2013. They cover many genres, from the 60s and the hits of today. They are very busy during festival times as they have attended and played at some local venues.
Saturday evening the music is provided by Darin Jones and The Last Men standing. Darin was born and raised in the Seattle area. It is said he does not have the stereotypical Nashville sound. Darin has spent time in Nashville and the Texas country scene. Darin is proud to be from the Pacific Northwest and wants to embrace all that is Northwest Country. Darin's guitar playing is not like most you will hear today. The proud PNW natives carry 70s southern rock, 80s soaring lead melody and 90s spank twang country chicken pickin'. He will keep your attention with his voice and guitar playing.
