The Centralia College Theatre Department presents the heartwarming play “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani. This romantic comedy will have performances on Feb. 13-16, and again on Feb. 20-22, in the Wickstrom Studio Theatre in Washington Hall on the college campus.
Set in a fictional hamlet in northern Maine, the production is actually nine short plays all addressing men and women who are falling in and sometimes out of love.
The characters are on the precipice of something else. Each of them knows that there is a totally new state of being just around the corner, but it’s not here yet and that’s terrifying, wonderful, liberating, and awful all at the same time. Everyone is in a state of almost, guest director Isaac Wulff, said.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. For more information, show times or ticket reservations call the box office at 736-9391, ext. 525.
