Winlock man booked for threatening ex
A Winlock man has was arrested Friday after making deadly threats against his ex-girlfriend, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
Ross C. Lawrence, 27, was arrested after his 24-year-old ex-girlfriend called to report he had left her threatening voicemails stating he was going to murder her and covertly dispose of her body. She told investigators she and Lawrence had just broken up after a five-year relationship.
Lawrence was contacted at his residence and booked for felony harassment.
Toledo man booked for attacking renters
A Toledo man may be facing assault charges after a violent attempt to collect rent in Onalaska Thursday, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
Eric C. Neilson, 28, of Toledo, had gone to property owned by his mother on the 100 block of Sunflower Ln. to collect rent and, during a conflict with the tenants, allegedly swung a metal fence post into the driver’s side window of a vehicle parked in the driveway, as well as shoved and punched other individuals at the scene.
Responding deputies located Neilson up the road from the house and booked him into the Lewis County Jail for malicious mischief. He has also been referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office for two counts of assault.
