Community zips into action for May Day

A number of residents, both kids and adults, were eager to line up for a ride down a zip line offered by local event specialists Black Tie Extreme. Mike Parsons, who co-owns the business with wife Victoria Parsons, said they had moved to Vader at the beginning of the year and have really come to love the small town. Kids visiting Cowlitz-Lewis Fire District 20 headquarters got to see a Sesame Street puppet show teaching them that during a fire, they need to "Get out and stay out," to keep themselves safe.
