The Centralia Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is finalizing plans to host "The Savior is Born." This spectacular musical presentation of the Christmas Story will include vocal and instrumental music accompaniments.
Families of all ages are encouraged to attend this nondenominational performance. They will experience the true Spirit of Christmas during this evening of uplifting music and narration of the Christmas Story. This inspirational event will be held Sunday, December 20, 6:00 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel building located at 2195 Jackson Highway, Chehalis.
"The Savior is Born" will feature vocal performances by adult and youth choirs and soloists as well as organ and other musical instrument solos celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Rick Hanson, renowned area organist, and Matthew Kuehnl, noted operatic baritone for twelve years with the Seattle Symphony Chorale and Choral Company, will also be performing.
Admission is free and open to the community. Refreshments will be served.
