Pour Painting for Kids
Pour Painting for Kids at the South Bend Timberland Library on Tuesday, March 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Create an original painting using acrylic paint. The library supplies the materials.

Willapa Bay Fisheries Discussion
On March 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Raymond Elks Lodge, 326 3rd St. in Raymond is a public meeting to discuss Willapa Bay fisheries proposals.

Grange Meeting
Grays Harbor/Pacific County Pomona meeting is Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. at North River Grange 2637 North River Road, Cosmopolis. Noon potluck to follow. Baking and candy contest entries due by 9:00 a.m. Contests open to nonmembers. For more info call 360-249-5350.

AARP Foundation Tax Assistance
The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax preparation to anyone of any age, especially if you are 50 or older. Visit if you can't afford paid tax preparation. They will be at the Raymond Library on Saturday, March 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. First come, first served.

Chinook Council Meeting Canceled
The Chinook Nation regrets to announce that the Saturday, March 14, 2020 Tribal Council Meeting and Storytelling Gathering that was to be held in Ilwaco at the Columbia Heritage Museum is canceled. This is due to precaution and concern for anyone that is especially susceptible to the Corona Virus. We will be announcing any further details as they are known. The Art of Block Printing
Join artist Jill Merrill to learn the art of block printing on Saturday, March 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the South Bend Timberland Library. All materials are provided.

On March 17, there is a Civil Service Meeting beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Conference Room at 1216 W. Robert Bush Drive in South Bend.

Seed Swap
Planning your garden, the Raymond Timberland Library is hosting a Seed Swap from March 17 until March 21. Bring in some seeds and take some seeds. For more information call 360-942-2408.

Veterans Advisory Board Meeting
The Veterans Advisory Board is meeting March 18 at the Commissioners Conference Room in the Courthouse Annex, 1216 W. Robert Bush Drive in South Bend beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Adult Family Home
Join Home and Community Services on Thursday, March 19 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to learn about how to Develop an Adult Family Home. The workshop is located at 307 E. Robert Bush Dr. in South Bend. To register call Down Okrasinski at 360-764-3003 or email her at okrasdm@dshs.wa.gov.

Free Soup Kitchen
Adventist Community Services is offering a meal with their Free Soup Kitchen at 1134 Crescent Street in Raymond. Come join them for a meal from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19. They will offer a hot meal every third Thursday of the month.

Playgroup
Join the library and school staff for playtime on Friday, March 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the South Bend Early Learning Center Annex, 508 Broadway Ave. This event is for children birth to 3 years old with a participating adult.
