When you walk into Bob's Lil' Car Hospital, you know you are walking into a shop that cares. Bob's Lil Car Hospital is located in Lexington just south of Castle Rock on the Westside Hwy. The minute you walk in, you notice how clean the shop is, but you also notice they have experienced individuals working on the vehicles.

Bob's Lil' Car Hospital started as a VW shop back in 1968, it was an air cooled shop and has since evolved into all vehicles, foreign and domestic. They do all types of repairs from oil changes to new engines and everything in between. They also work on shocks and do some exhaust. They work on European vehicles, they had a BMW, Mercedes, hybrid and all different makes and models. They can work on anything.

Ken Tover who is a resident of Winlock has been the manager since 2016. Barbara Daniel from south Lewis County is the service adviser and has been there for 6 months. Ken can help local residents get their vehicles to Bob's. He stated, "As per arrangements, I can get cars from Winlock to here, as long as they are safe to drive." Ken has several residents in the area he gives this level of service to and wants to help local residents.

Bob's uses dealer level software that will identify a vehicle's problem faster than most and alleviates the need to go to a big city dealer. Tover stated, "I believe our level of service is incredible. We have a level of service with technology and education that is hard to beat. We are always involved in continual education for technicians."

Ken continued, "Our goal is to do same day repairs, if we can complete the repairs in one day, we will get it done. If we have to do more extensive repairs, we will let you know ahead of time."

Bob's Lil' Car Hospital has a lot of years of service behind their technicians. Mike Zwiefelhofer, has been employed for 30 years as a technician stated, "It's family oriented, I spend more time here than with my family. I've been through 3 owners and it still feels like family." It's that obvious family feeling when you walk in your notice.

The lead technician, Charlie Zimmerman, is also an automotive industry instructor. He can find any problem quickly and efficiently. The combined years of experience of 5 guys is 110 years, it's hard to find that level of expertise anywhere in a shop.

The amazing thing you will see is a spotless shop where the technicians work. The cleanliness in this shop shows they are there to make sure your vehicle stays clean while it is there. All seven single bays and six auto lifts are clean, it's the pride of ownership and management that keeps this place spic and span clean.
