Artisan auction under way at Winlock Timberland Library

Donations of crafts, artwork and other items are on display now at the Winlock Timberland Library in time for their annual Artisan Silent Auction. The largest fundraiser every year for the Friends of the Winlock Library, area residents have until Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. to cast their bid on a multitude of items, with organizers hoping to break last year's record-setting total of $1,700.

This knitted Viking mask by Jill Smith, complete with flowing red locks, is among the many creative additions to this year's auction.

This child's quilt by Lona Lewis is displayed with many of the hand-crafted and family-oriented items donated to the auction this year.

Goatmilk soap from Library Manager Jamie Allwine has become a yearly favorite and is available to purchase without bidding.
