Spooky creatures and lots of fun are waiting at Story Book Farm, in Toledo, as the u-pick pumpkin patch is open for Halloween guests. Located at 5053 Jackson Hwy. Story Book Farm is open from 10 a.m. to dusk now through Oct. 31.

A candy-serving witch stands before a hay pile for the candy dive, which is among many kid-oriented attractions at the pumpkin patch. Owners Ron and Fay Brett have also put together a growing display of characters from The Wizard of Oz.

Rows of Jack O'Lantern pumpkins are available for the picking, while guests can also take part in a hay ride or tour the nearby graveyard. If you are coming as a group, whether for church of school, special rates can apply. For more information, go to www.facebook.com/StoryBookFarmWA.
