Eight days of razor clam digging begins Saturday

State fishery managers have given the OK for a second razor clam dig this month, this one scheduled from Jan. 17 through Jan. 24 on evening tides at various ocean beaches.

Rain Derby winners announced

The official measurement for the 2014 rainfall season has been tabulated at 86.54 inches. Exceeding the 45-year average of 82.16 inches annually. All winners were within four hundredths of an inch of the actual total.
