Dear Savvy Senior,
Does Medicare cover outpatient counseling or therapy sessions for seniors? Since retiring, my husband has really struggled with depression and needs to get some help. What can you tell us?
Lisa Ayers is an outstanding commissioner
For someone who claims to have been an attorney, Michael Spencer seems to miss some very basic legal concepts like an allegation is merely that, and when it is unfounded, it means someone in authority looked into the claim and found no wrongdoing. Perhaps Spencer's failure to grasp this important principle is why he is "retired." Some people call that unemployable, but if he chooses "retired" who am I to argue. It seems to me that Spencer, and the ilk like him, are examples of what is wrong with politics.
Chief Eastham's Letter to the Editor was well written with his particular strong point of view. Not surprisingly, Chiefs of Police and County Prosecutors do not always agree on everything.
I never thought that a private family matter would become part of negative politics, especially from my Democratic Party; shame on you for using this tactic.
The recent Letters to the Editor have given me quite a chuckle. If one side doesn't like the facts, they immediately call it a smear campaign.
