The board of Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. unanimously voted to support all the school levies that are up for approval this election cycle at its meeting on Thursday, January 23.
Increases in teacher
pay from 2006-2013

Executives at Washington’s public education teachers’ union (WEA) recently announced that their top lobbying goal for the 2014 legislative session is to increase pay for their members. To support their case, the WEA’s “Our Voice” newsletter states,
“Educators have gone six straight years without a COLA.”
President Obama made it clear that promoting economic growth and making sure that everyone
shares in it is his top priority.
