Dear Savvy Senior,


Can exercise help seniors with arthritis? I have osteoarthritis and have read that certain exercises can help ease the pain, but I don’t know where to start, and I certainly don’t want to make it any worse than it already is. What can you tell me?

There’s almost nothing more disgusting for gardeners than finding their strawberry plants full of what appears to be spit just as the berries begin ripening. Although the foamy material is not spit in the truest sense, it still makes berry harvest less than appealing.
