Christmas time is here and I have yet to decorate for Christmas, I am definitely behind the time. The windstorm last week did not knock out my power so I have absolutely no excuse except I think I have gotten lazy! The cold weather always seems to slow me down, it was warm and now it's cold, I wish it would make up its mind, I prefer warm!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Walk and Knock last weekend. If you were either a knocker or a giver you have helped the area families to have food on their tables. We have also set up a bank account at Winlock Timberland Bank called Winlock Student Support. The reason for this account is so people in Winlock can donate funds to provide items for our students in need. I am thrilled this account is set up and I challenge each of you to put in a little, even if it's only a dollar or two, every penny counts.
Daily lunches for the public are served for $4 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (reservations appreciated) and senior lunches (must be 60 or older) are on Wednesday and Friday (a $3 donation is suggested).
