It’s here, it’s finally here, Egg Day is this weekend and I hope you are as excited as I am that it has finally arrived. A busy weekend is in store for Winlock, many people are in town for Egg Day. Since there is a big class reunion for some of the classes from the ‘50s and ‘60s, there will be even more people in town. It’s time for old classmates to catch up with each other. One of my Mom’s classmates came all the way from Cedar City, Utah over the weekend for the class reunion. For those of you who graduated in 1958, Jill Nichols and her adorable Yorkie Nute will be at the class reunion at Porters Patch.
For the rest of us who don’t have a class reunion this weekend, the Egg Day parade brings about a mini class reunion all of its own You get to see classmates who graduated before and after you. You talk about your lives since you graduated and it is always fun to see everyone, some have changed, some not so much! The one topic that always seems to come up is our class speech, we had a very short and to the point for our class. Thank you Tommy Thompson for the great memory, you summed it up well!!
