The Friends of the Winlock Timberland Library will hold their Ninth Annual Artisan Silent Auction featuring local handcrafted items beginning Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the library. Final bids will be accepted Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m.

A wide variety of beautiful items are available including goat milk soap, quilts, Afghans, watercolor paintings, and Christmas ornaments. All proceeds support events and programs at the Winlock Timberland Library.

The Junior Page Turners book club will meet on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 3:30 p.m. This event is open to kids in grades 1-3. Meet for a book chat, games, snacks and a craft. The featured book this week is "Rattlesnake Dance", by Jennifer Owings Dewey. Snacks provided by the Friends of the Winlock Timberland Library.

The library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. We will resume regular hours Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The library will be hosting a special adult program on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Mary Kathryn Kozy is a nationally renowned geneticist who will share insights on using DNA in your search for your ancestral roots and understanding autosomal DNA. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Winlock Timberland Library.
