Vision:Toledo will share the Cheese Day Bingo event with the Toledo Youth Soccer Club. The event will be 6:30 til 9 p.m. on Friday, July 11. Hot dogs pop, and other snacks will be for sale.
Cowlitz River Distillery has been added to the vision:Toledo Wine & Cheese Tasting Garden this summer during Cheese Days. Come taste local wine, cheese, beer, chocolates and spirit. All proceeds benefit Vision: Toledo projects.
July 26 is the 4th annual Steelhead Fishing Derby. A delicious steelhead dinner will be included in the $25 entry fee for fishing participants along with cash prizes for the top 3 steelhead caught during the daylight to 4 p.m. event. Toledo's School Garden Initiative is growing with plans to incorporate the middle school and possibly a hoop house. Families have committed to water and weed this summer at the elementary school. Ron & Victoria Smith have the framework finished and plan to install their five fish sculpture this week.
Andy Lahmann is planning a screening in Toledo of his feature film Out of Nothing. Also, he wants to line up Holy Toledo! (the improv comedy show) for this summer as well.
