The Friends of the Toledo Library are at work to make the Toledo Community Library a reality. The owners of the old Toledo Pharmacy building, Pat and Bill Caldwell, said Lewis County PUD did an energy survey and will be retro-fitting the building with new lighting. The Caldwells have been tearing out old wall board and putting in insulation. Mike Ouellette has volunteered to mud and texture sheetrock but will need help hanging it. Administrators from the Timberland Regional Library will be checking things out for the kiosk and drop box. Sterling Savings has donated some furniture. If you would like to help the Caldwells get their building ready, please contact Pat at (360) 864-6757 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The Community Clean Up Day is scheduled for Saturday May 31. Organizer Mike Stavig is asking for help in finding areas around town and the Greater Toledo Area that need cleaning up, painting, weeding, or just a little love and attention. Contact Mike at (360) 864-2334 email@example.com
