On Saturday, the Toledo Community Library will host an evening with Washington State Poet Laureate, Elizabeth Austen and author Terry Martin. The event is free and open to the public.

Timberland Regional Library will have their official Grand Opening of their Toledo Kiosk at the Toledo Community Library on Saturday Sept. 20.

Library hours are: Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

More than 300 people attended the exclusive Out of Nothing Screening event in Toledo. Filmmaker and Toledo High School Alum Andrew Lahmann organized the event as a fundraising event for the Toledo Girls Softball Association and the Toledo School Garden Initiative at the middle school. $1,268 was raised for the charities. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this opportunity possible.

Johanna Jones has been working on finding grants to fund the painting of a mural on the City's water tower. If anyone knows of a good source for grant money please contact her at (360) 864-8789.

Upcoming events are ARTrails Sept 20-21 and 27-28 and The Cowlitz Tribe's 15th annual Pow Wow Sept. 20th at the Toledo High School.
