On the first night of February the Toledo City Council met together for their first meeting of the month. At 6:00 pm Mayor Steve Dobosh called the Meeting to order. After the flag salute Mayor Dobosh notified the Council that Councilman Jim Fluckinger was excused for being absent. Following this announcement the Council moved into their time of Department Reports.
First under Department Reports was Public Works Craig McCown. In his report he told the Council all the man holes had been cleaned out and "everything is working well.
Next under the Department Reports was Police Chief John Brockmueller. At this time he came forward and handed the report to the Council members and continued to tell them there had been "18 calls of service in the past two weeks." With no questions from the Council about the calls Brockmueller stated he has "nothing to report, everything is good."
After Brockmueller's report City Clerk Michelle Whitten gave her report about the addition to the agenda. Added to the agenda was a matter about a water leak. She also notified the Council of the Vision Toledo meeting and that more information would be available later.
With no Public Comment or agenda items under New Business or Unfinished Business, the Council looked to Other Business where they had added the matter of the Water Leak. The Council was told that a sprinkler system had been leaking. The leak had been shut off and isolated but not yet fixed. It was said that the amount (how much) will be paid for, will be reviewed.
When there was nothing further on the agenda, the Council made the motion to adjourn the meeting.
