This week there will be a fundraiser event sponsored by the Windermere Foundation hosted by Paula Burrows of Windermere Centralia, Bonanza BBQ & Catering, and Farmers Insurance Toledo. All proceeds raised will benefit the Toledo School District children with basic needs. It's called the "Down Home, a Toledo WA Shindig" and everyone is invited to attend.
The event sounds like it will be a lively one with music performed by Tony Branco and Gubmint Cheese. There will also be a live, silent, and dessert auction, and of course a delicious "all you can eat" BBQ meal catered by the folks at Bonanza BBQ. Salads and fruit are by the Crowded Kitchen. As you can see, it is an event that the businesses in Toledo are supporting.
The shindig takes place on Saturday, September 14 with the festivities starting at 4:00 p.m. and ending some time late in the evening. Tickets are available for an all you can eat BBQ. You can get them at Farmers Insurance Toledo, Bonanza BBQ, Windermere Centralia and Baydo's RV in Chehalis. This is a 21+ event.
If you need a sitter for the night, the Toledo Cheerleaders are having a babysitting fundraiser that same evening. Contact Jennifer Ball for more information at 360-269-0620.
Be sure to stop in for a good cause and what is sure to be a great time! For more information about the event, check out the facebook page "Down Home A Toledo WA. Shindig"
