The race itself will consist of a 1-kilometer run for elementary kids and a 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer run for everyone else. The 1-k race will go around the Raymond High School track 2.5 times. The 5k and 10k routes start at the high school track and will head out toward the Hwy 101 and on to the rails to trails. There will be a midway point marked where they will turn around to finish back at the track.

The first three runners for boys and girls will get medals and the kids will get ribbons. Entry fees for the races are $15, $25, and $30 for the corresponding races and Meade will have T-shirts to commemorate the event.

Check out the Run Bright Facebook page, and look for the fliers around town.

The race is scheduled for April 25 and registrations begin at 8 am at Raymond High School track.
