Old building, new look by Roy Richards who will be opening for the Saturday Market
It's that time of year, the Winlock Saturday Market is coming back on June 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This time the market has moved to the downtown area with hopes of bringing business to the downtown core.
The Winlock Saturday Market will be located next to Sahara Pizza, both inside and out. They hope to attract enough vendors to have it year round. While it's just in the infancy stage under new management, their goal is to bring people and businesses to downtown Winlock.
They will offer veggies, fruits, eggs, canned goods, aprons, blankets, alpaca items, fruits, planter boxes, signs, chicken nick nacks, Mariner bobbleheads, pot holders, pillows, bags, plant hangers, planter boxes, kitchen towels along with a book nook. A large variety of items, all for you to peruse.
Bonita Aadland, the market manager stated, "We are excited to bring the market back to Winlock. Please stop by and see the changes."
With the opening of the Saturday Market, Roy Richards will open his building for the event. Roy has been remodeling the former Pastime Tavern. He and his group will be available to play music on Saturday along with the opportunity to tour the location. If you haven't seen the inside, it's worth the trip to see what a wonderful building Roy is creating.
This coming Saturday is the beginning of a new era in Winlock. Aadland stated, "We look forward to the new market and seeing new faces."
If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact Bonita at 360-880-8521. Hope to see everyone there.
