A teen from Aberdeen has been returned home after being reported as a runaway on Monday. The teen's parents dropped her off at Miller Junior High Monday, and she was not there by the end of the day. The teen also failed to report to detention, and the parents reported the teen as a runaway. The teen wasn't heard from until she was spotted by a family member behind a Hoquiam apartment on the night of Friday, May 13. A friend tupped the family off that a teenage boy and the girl he was known to be associated with was at an apartment in the 1000 block of Lincoln Street in Hoquiam.
The family contacted the police and confronted the teenage boy's mother, the boy was found to have a warrant out of the Grays Harbor County Juvenile Court and was held on the charges. The girl was returned home.
